Description: 2200 Cu Ft Super B Dry Bulker Manhole Covers: 20" diameter full opening manhole cover Betts 8555ABF-6. Manholes open to the rear and lay flat. One per hopper. Material: Tank Shell: Aluminum 5454 H32 0.188" and 0.250" Tank Heads: .250” round 5454 rolled aluminum. Density: 85-115 lbs/cu ft Working Pressure: 102.74 Kpa MAWP (14.9 Psi) Max. Temperature: 50º C Test Pressure: 158 kpa (23 Psi) Catwalk: The unit will be equipped with a 1" aluminum toe rail complete with a 24" wide non slip tape. Pipelines: Side: Driver side 4" Sch. 40 aluminum pipe discharging immediately forward of the lead axle. Outlet to be equipped with 4" aluminum male adaptor and dust cap. Couplings and Nipples: All plumbing to include steel Gruvlock couplings and schedule 40 aluminum nipples where required. Note: Duralack coating is required. One gauge will be for tank pressure and one gauge will be for line pressure. These gauges are to be installed in an illuminated box and mounted on the driverside of the unit off the main frame rail. Line pressure gauge input ahead of control line valve Landing Gear: Jost Magnum #AX150.G.17 aluminum 10 year landing gear. Handle to be curbside. Painting and Finishing: Partial running gear assembly and upper fifth will be sandblasted, primed and painted with an Advance Endura Grey. The balance of the running gear assembly will be coated with SAF Armour guard or factory paint. The barrel and all aluminum and stainless steel components to remain natural. Hose Tubes: One required - 8" diameter by 20’-6”' long mounted on the unit. The hose tubes will be equipped with cast aluminum rear access door. On Curbside: 1 Cabinets: Not included. Fenders: Unit will be equipped with rolled poly Minimizer fenders, galvanized (Grey), front and rear complete with mudflaps and fill plates. A two-step aluminum ladder will be mounted between the first and second axle on the driver side to provide access to the air and electrical connections and the ladders between the two units. Ladder: One aluminum bolt-on removable ladder will be mounted at the rear of the unit on the vertical centreline. This ladder will be equipped with "Advance" cast aluminum rungs and a 11 ¾" wide aluminum ISG platform at the top step. Tunnel Grab: Not included Placard Holder: Not included Lighting: An LED Grommet style weatherproof lighting system in compliance with the requirements of the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Registration Holder: One document tube type on driverside front fender and one Betts. PSI clear lens mounted on tank frame at rear of driver side front fender. Conspicuity Decaling: Supply and install conspicuity decaling as per CMVSS 108 requirements. Dividers: Half height dividers required between hoppers. Internal Ladders: Not included Air Control Line: Make – B.T.I. Maxxlife Size - 4" There will be one of these valves mounted in the 4" Sch. 10 aluminum pipe airline which feeds the air to the main discharge line immediately below the long radius belled lateral in the main air supply line. This line will be 4” Schedule 10 aluminum pipe running from the leading end of the trailer on the driverside to the last hopper of the trailer. This line is to be maintained as straight as possible with no elbows in the line if possible. Supply one 4” Bayco check valve ahead of air line tee close to the front to protect the blower. Supply a second 4" Bayco check valve in the main air feed line at the Number One hopper. The line will initiate at the front of the trailer with a 45 degree elbow turned upward. Install 4” butterfly valve with 4” male adaptor and dust cap to rear of last hopper. Front Jumper Hose: Not included. Hopper Tee's: Each hopper will be equipped with a B.T.I. bottom drop 8” x 4” Aluminum tee complete with clean-out door. Discharge Valve: 8" BTI Maxxlife Model – 8-790-501-EXT18 These valves will be mounted at the base of the hopper with the handles oriented to the driverside of the unit. The valve body will be equipped with a grease nipple at the stem for lubricating purposes. Bottom Loading Fill Line: Not included. Fluidizers: The fluidizers will be the B.T.I. SpinFlo c/w hopper savers, three per hopper. Fluidizer control valve will be 2” B.T.I. BTV-2AV-FTHB. There will be one of these 2" valves mounted off the air supply line for each hopper. Rubber Blocks: Not included. Top Air Supply Line: There will be a 3" hot air hose line, which will run between the main air supply line to the top of the tank. A 3" B.T.I. Maxxlife butterfly valve with handle will be installed in this line immediately above the main air supply line. A cross will be installed in the line above this shut-off valve and a 3" B.T.I. Maxxlife butterfly valve with handle for blow down purposes will be installed on this tee. Piped to centre of trailer.
